NSFAS For Private Colleges 2025-2026
NSFAS For Private Colleges 2025-2026
In South Africa, private colleges are institutions that function independently and are not supported by the government. Depending on the institution, they may offer various programs and degrees, certificates, and diplomas. In addition to serving a wider spectrum of students, private institutions could provide exclusive or industry-focused programs.
Traditionally NSFAS focuses on public universities and TVET colleges, NSFAS is expanding its reach to include private colleges, offering new opportunities for students in the 2025-2026 academic year. This movie aims to bridge the gap in educational accessibility and ensure that more students can pursue their academic goals regardless of their financial background.
NSFAS is a government entity under the Department of Higher Education and Training established according to the NSFAS Act (Act 56 of 1999) to provide financial support to disadvantaged students who wish to further their studies at public universities or TVET colleges.
